Ceragon-48% gain
Imation—31% gain
Mitel-15% gain
United Online-6% loss (take-under)
SGI—70% gain on takeover.
AVID-55% gain (this was a trading position-in addition to our long-term holding)
HLIT-85% gain. We sold 75% of our position here.
UVE-36% gain.
ATEC-71% gain. (This was a trading position-in addition to our long-term holding)

ARIS-sold remaining position for 238% gain
While we officially sold our blog position last July for a 210% gain, we held onto some and finally closed this position today at $5.45. The investment firm that was waging a proxy contest lost the election, taking away any short term catalyst in our opinion. While we still think this is a good company and may some day be sold, we are not hanging around anymore to find out.
CRNT-Sold for 48% gain
We had CRNT in our Blog in 2015 and booked a 63% gain in August last year.
We recommended CRNT again to our private subscribers in October 2016 at $2.34 (average cost) and sold it yesterday at $3.47

December was not a good month—down 5.6% compared to the Dow up 3.3% and NASDAQ up 1.1%. We still ended 2016 up a healthy 18.3% compared to the DOW up 13.4% and NASDAQ up 7.5% for the year.

November was just a so-so month–up .7% compared to the Dow up 5.6% and NASDAQ up 2.7%. We are still up a healthy 23.9% compared to the DOW up 9.7% and NASDAQ up 6.3% for the year. GSL was up 130% and got close to our cost basis and we got out at $3.00. It is now sub-$2 again.

For our legacy stocks, October stunk up the place as we were down 13% as ATEC gave back 34%, GSL 20% and BLIN 21% for no reason. The legacy portfolio is still up 23% in 2016.
