Another crappy week. I was down 5.1% and am now up 12.4% this year.

Nothing dramatic, just death by a thousand paper cuts as small caps go back on the “ignore” list no matter what they do.

I bought some ONDS for one of my kids at their request to buy a drone stock. ONDS looks like the best bet in an area where all stocks appear overvalued to me.

IRIX announced Q2 earnings. No progress on revenues and they had another small loss. The investors who bought $10 million of stock at $2.00 last year are not happy. Hopefully they will get them to sell the company. It is trading at about .25 of revenue. At 1X revenue this is a $3.50-$4.00 stock. A few years ago, buyouts in this space were at 3-6X revenues. Again, nobody cares about bump along microcap medical companies. A sale is the only hope to see some value here-IMO

ARAY also announced earnings. Another med-tech stock no one cares about. Equipment revenues were down, apparently due to sales in China. They really didn’t explain why. A reverse stock split is coming soon. Their expense cutting is showing some benefits, but they still have a long way to go. Another stock I refuse to give up on (probably stupidly).

8/14/2026-Worst week of the year so far

I had a crappy week. I was down 6.4% and am now up 17.5% for the year.

I sold 1/3 of my remaining NEXN ahead of Q2 earnings for a 73% gain. They announced a great quarter on Wednesday. They have $132 million of cash ($2.27 per share) and project $122-$132 million of EBITDA for the year. The market cap is about $600 million meaning that they are trading at less the 4X EBITDA net of cash. CHEAP. Worth at least $15 a share IMO.

I also sold my ZIM for a tiny 4% gain. I figured I would get out at a small gain rather than wait to see what happens with their 2 buy-out offers that seem stalled.

FOCL (EDAP) did a secondary offering at $4.75 a share knocking the stock down from over $6. This was the biggest impact on my week. They also announced Q2 earnings. Revenues were good, up 39% but the large losses continue.

SCOR announced they were chopping $25 million of expenses. The turnaround continues. They also announced Q2 earnings and a $10 million loss (excluding transaction costs for prepaying their debt and selling their movie division. I wish I never bought this but I still have hope. The stock dropped about 15% and helped me have a crappy week.

PERI announced Q2 earnings. They were fine. They have $7.24 a share in cash ($268 million), no debt, expect EBITDA of about $50 million. They are trading at a market cap of about $400 million or about 2.6X EBITDA, plus cash. CHEAP. Worth at least $15 a share IMO.

ACH is now down over 70% since I sold it for a profit. Whew.

8//8/2026

I had another bumpy week. I was up over 5% at the end of Tuesday, but ended the week only up 2.2% and up 23.9% for the year.

Earnings in ANGI, BMBL, PLTK, GDRX and VNDA all were “ok”. All of these stocks are works in progress. The market was particularly not happy with ANGI and PLTK.

I bought more BMBL and PLTK as they fell back to about where I originally bought them and nothing has really changed and they spew cash, are profitable and are very CHEAP IMO.

8/4/2026

Sold a little bit more of my FOCL (EDAP) for a 111% gain. Still got a bunch left.

Bought a little bit of PSEC at $2.13. This is a closed end fund with a net asset value around $6 and a 20% yield.

Bought a little bit of CDNT at $1.61. It got away from me before I could buy more. This is a multiyear turnaround story. I think they may be on the verge of going in the right direction finally.
